About Me
What’s up all! I’m Jenn Mordecai and this is Life as I See It. I live with my wonderful husband and 2 very spoiled cats.
I am consistently improving in many areas of my life. My favorite Pinterest board is Self Improvement. I’m kinda crafty or at least in my head I am. Not everything I envision translates well.
I’m a lifelong Cubs fan and Bears fan. My favorite food is pizza, (no suprise, I live in Chicago) and cheesecake is my dessert of choice. I’ve lived here all my life.
What I Do
I consider myself a Professional Volunteer. I am currently the President of the Rotary Club of Romeoville, leader of Romeoville Adult Leadership Committee with Ducap, Friends of the Whiteoak Library, and a Will County Election Judge.
By day, I work for Northern Will County Special Recreation Association. I work with adults with special needs in a recreational setting.
I consider myself a closet blogger. I have my views and opinions on many things. They are longing to come out and be put on paper.
My Goal
My goal is to get stuff out of my head. It’s getting crowded in my brain.
I will say that my views are on the conservative side, but I know life is not always black and white. I’m not writing to spark outrage, offend or start an arguement. I am writing because I feel like I need to.
